Obedience To God’s Will

Hello, I am Bishop Michael Harr of the Ecumenical Order of Christ. Today I want to go over the importance of being Obedient to God’s Will. There is a lot to discuss and I know how others feel about this so I will go over it as best that I can.

God, YHVH, is our FATHER, not our servant. I often see people asking things from God, can I have this, can I get that. When do these same people stop to give thanks to God for what they DO have? When do they give back to God for the blessings he gives them?

Our Father who is in Heaven is there to guide us, nurture us, and help us to grow up spiritually mature. His Will is for our benefit, our betterment and always to help us. It is not like an evil dictator that has a bunch of laws and decrees to exude power and dominance over people, oppressing them. No, far from that is God’s Will.

 Our obedience to following that Will always lead to good fruit being bore by those who humbly bow to it. Our will needs to be HIS will. He tasked mankind with a very important mission to spread truth and light and teachings that do not oppress mankind but liberate mankind. Tithings go towards this great mission and providing for the people who have given up their entire lives to follow this vision and dream.

This is only one aspect of Obedience to God’s will. Sometimes God has a message for mankind that MUST come out on GOD’s time so he will do what is necessary to ensure that message is brought forth. Sometimes God’s will is to shift focus from one aspect of the mission to another. However, there is one of God’s will that will not Change and that is the Univeral Laws of the 10 Commandments that are built from the Law of Love.

Our Will must be in line with God’s will so that many benefits and not just one or two. If we followed our own Will, what comes of it? Greed, selfishness, lying, stealing, murder, self-centeredness and a litany of other things. We must learn to LET GO of what we want to do and give our will over to God who can use us to benefit many. That is what a Father does, he guides and when he must, he disciplines. That discipline is a result of doing actions that are evil.

Whatever we do in life, make sure it is in line with Father YHVH’s Will who only has our best interest at heart. Make no mistake, EVERYTHING we do in Life is the Business of Father God, not simply one aspect but ALL aspects. If man was left to our own devices we would have surely annihilated everyone long ago… instead, he has kept a steady, firm and guiding hand over every single one of us.

I hope this has helped you. I think about this every minute of every single day. I want to do what is pleasing in Father God’s eyes so that he might smile upon me. I want the same for everyone.
