Peace And Safety
Sermon by Cardinal Joseph Monte
December 29th, 2016

1 Thessalonians 5:3 (KJV)

“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”

Let’s put some perspective on this…

First of all, we live in a world that is being shown signs of our ending clear as day as if it were a billboard ad on the highway loudly displaying a ‘last chance to exit’ message in big bold letters… And everyone just keeps driving.

While many people might acknowledge the times we live in, they are still in disbelief. War-torn nations, famines, natural disasters, an overall tense political atmosphere, and demonic behaviors of riots and mass shootings popping up everywhere… Yet our human population continues to grow despite diminishing resources, many people who had food on the table before still have food on the table today despite economic uncertainty, and overall most people feel they are unaffected by what is happening in the world today, so it’s almost too easy for cognitive dissonance to sink in, as long as it happens elsewhere to people other than themselves.

Out of those who are at least somewhat aware of current headlines, it seems that most think this will all just blow over soon, and we will all magically end up in a peaceful and secure world, without ever having to deviate from their normal cycle of consumption and regurgitation.

But, now we have even more revealing headlines on this topic…

After enduring 5 years of war and being bombed back to the stone ages, Aleppo has finally been liberated from terrorism and anti-Assad rebels, and reports of families returning home to peacefully enjoy Christmas in Syria have been coming out in Russian and eastern media sources.

On top of that, today a ceasefire agreement has been reached in Syria. The armed opposition forces targeting Assad’s regime have agreed to peace with the Syrian government. Huge news for the people of that region, and for the nations involved!

Now, we have major headlines on the situation between the US, and Israel. While the handful of Israel sympathizers are stewing in shock and anger, most of the world is largely rejoicing over the thought of finally achieving a two-state solution.

In yesterday’s speech from US Secretary of State John Kerry, he defended the US’s decision to abstain from UNSCR 2334 because Israel settlements are (quote) “A threat to peace”, saying that the Obama administration did so in the interest of a ‘just and lasting’ peace, and was also quoted saying that “No American administration has done more for Israel’s security than Barack Obama’s”… And on January 17, their final resolution of a move towards ‘peace’ (the UN’s mandatory decision to recognize and establish a Palestinian State) will most likely pass through yet another UNSC vote against Israel.

However, Israel has defended their position on providing peace and security for the Jewish people, collectively saying there is no other nation that wants it more than they do.

On other fronts… Actions that Obama is taking against Russia are all, according to him, in the cause of ‘National Security’. He also said in an immensely idealistic speech on peace and unity at Pearl Harbor yesterday that “The character of nations…is defined in peace.” Anyone can notice that he and his administration have been using clearly stated but vaguely defined “peace efforts” as a justified means for implementing military action across the globe.

US President-elect Donald Trump has made it clear that when he takes office on January 20, he will ensure that tensions between the US and Russia are calmed, that jobs and prosperity will come back to America, and Israel’s peace will be defended in every way possible from those who wish to destroy it… His election has been met with optimism among many world leaders, and overall he has received a very warm welcoming among the international community.

If you look carefully, you will notice… EVERYTHING in the headlines right now is about peace and safety… Literally everything.

It would seem that major players on the world stage (and the media outlets that play into their agendas) are all making moves to try and ensure peace, whether global or simply for their own people (or at least display the illusion of peace). They all appear to feel (or put up the facade) that the tensions of these precarious times will inevitably lead the way to the ultimate compromise that humanity has been waiting for, for as long as we have been human.

Folks, the prophecy of Thessalonians 5:3 is now being fulfilled right in front of your very eyes.

Now, what are the consequences?

The peace agreement in Syria does not remove ISIS or Al-Nusra. What it actually does is simmer down the military activity from NATO, Russia, and other nations involved, because their presence in order to either dethrone or defend Assad (respectively) is now mitigated… So other than light activity to enforce the ceasefire once the bulk of the troops are withdrawn, there is very little in the way of direct protection which could be provided by large military powers from these terrorist cells (born and bread by the CIA) as they make their way to Israel, which has been left almost completely vulnerable in the wake of recent actions.

Despite that, the military build up in the region has increased dramatically over the years, largely due to the Syrian conflict, the refugee crisis in Europe, and the tensions between Russia/Ukraine/Turkey/NATO, so there is still a large presence of activity within half a day’s striking distance of Israel.

Now that the US has opened the door to a military struggle to liberate Palestine among major military powers, knowing that they are the driving force behind the resolution, and behind terrorism, and behind the nations who are bullied into submission to cooperate with the American government’s agenda, there is simply nothing holding back the winds of catastrophe.

Once Obama (Gog) makes his final, devastating move as President, and pulls the trigger against Israel and Russia (among many other nations), all hell will break loose in quite literally the blink of an eye.

Everything that you see happening right now is, in fact, preparing the way for the great and terrifying day of the Lord.

As it says in the verse prior…

1 Thessalonians 5:2 (KJV)

“For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.”

Peace and Safety - Sermon by Cardinal Joseph Monte - Dec 29th, 2016

Although seemingly heinous, it is necessary. Evil is going to rise up against evil and will annihilate itself, and with the world in shambles, the room will be made for the Anointed One to take His place as the King that God has destined Him to be, and prepare earth to be a paradise for all inhabitants of His established New Kingdom.

Our Majesty, Lord RayEl, will end it when He stands on the Mount of Olives, and completes His conquest with what we could only describe as a ‘facelift’ of planet earth… Evil will be removed, peace will be restored, Justice and Righteousness will reign true.

However, most of you will not see that day. It’s in the bible, it’s prophecy, it’s just the way the truth is, most people will die before He is ever revealed… The bad stuff could have been avoided with repentance, but now the world has made its decision.

Just know that if you have done nothing for the Lord, then He’s not going to do anything for you.
