Lukewarm Faith – Sermon by Bishop Corey DeFrancesco – Feb 6th, 2017
Hello everyone. Bishop Corey DeFrancesco here to present you with a challenge that you can’t afford to fail. Today we will seek a cure for the disease known as “lukewarm faith”. You might be asking, “How can faith be lukewarm? Faith is faith.” Well, no… not quite. Let’s review what our Bible has to say on this topic, shall we? As Revelation 3:16 tells us,
“So, because you are lukewarm–neither hot nor cold–I am about to spit you out of my mouth.”
Lord RayEl has expressed numerous times that he dislikes individuals who show lukewarm faith, neither hot nor cold in regards to his mission, or their beliefs. Ask yourself, do you want to drink from a lukewarm pot of tea or coffee? Do you eat a meal that is neither hot nor cold? I know that I don’t.
Why would the returned Christ, our Lord RayEl, want followers who are passively “in the middle”? Do you think he can possibly expect to rely on such people? Do you think that he can expect anything from them? Do you honestly believe that he wants such individuals to inhabit the Kingdom of God? No… Absolutely not.
We are the enlightened followers of the returned Christ. We are RayElites, and that name isn’t granted to us by privilege or right, it must be earned. It is time for us to show our obedience to the King, and to do his divine will, and follow through with the work required for this divine mission.
So flock, are you hot or are you cold? You must make your choice, because if you idle by in the middle, you will be judged more harshly than those who pick a side wholeheartedly. Congregation, we must be ON FIRE for our Lord, or else the will of his Father will never be done. We must be the torch that illuminates the darkness, and opens the mind.
Stay lit, my brothers and sisters.
